Ashok Chakra Movie Review
Testing

The primary question that comes to your mind in the first 10 minutes of the movie is, for whom this movie is made. Who is the target audience? The creators claim the movie to be committed to the martyrs of the 26/11 carnage but in implementation it is nothing but an affront to those who laid their lives on that black day.

The movie chronicles Ajmal Kasab (Verma) and his expedition from the LeT training camp in Pakistan to his aims in India. He disembarks on the Mumbai shores among his nine other assistants to extend fear on the important night of 26th November 2008. Kasab is pitted against Hemant Karkare (Homi Wadia), Tukarum Ombale (Ashok Samarth), Ashok Kamte (Amit Behl), Salaskar (Sudesh Berry) and numerous other law enforcement officers. The rest of the movie is about what happens after Ksab is caught through the brave Ombale, who lays down his life trying to seize him.

Immature in every single section, the movie tests your endurance with bad performing, bad creation values, bad editing, bad cinematography and yes bad direction. It is sad that such a movie on a significant topic is wasted by some undeserving aptitude that had money at their disposal to attempt such a movie. One can only imagine the plight of those who underwent pain in real life, if they get to watch this foolish representation of the 26/11 happenings.

Rajan Verma, who acts Kasab emerges more as a psychopathic killer than a fanatic. The less supposed about rest of the over acting performers, the better.
