Aganath made his first appearance as a director in the Vijay starrer Puthiya Geethai. He had also created Kodambakkam with Raman Thediya Seethai. Now he is busy with his next plan. He is also acting in movies. Lately he gave an interview to the media:
I got some excellent associates in cinema. When I have not having movies only their support gave me the strength. Raasu Madhuravan gave me a opportunity to act in his movie Maayandi Kudumbhathar. Performing is an art. I will not say that I am doing a service in the cine field. If I perform for 2 months, I get good payment.
I am married and this helps me to run my relatives. It is a huge struggle to get the second movie after the first one. Raasu Madhuravan knows that pain and that is why he is creating the directors act in his movie. I am presently acting in Goripalayam directed by Raasu Madhuravan and in Milagai created by Ravi Maria.
