One of the mainly sizzling and occurrening young actors in Tamil cinema, Ganesh Venkatraman of Abhiyum Naanum and Unnaipol Oruvan recognition is now geared up to make his debut in Malayalam!

This ex-Gladrags Manhunt Mr. INDIA 2003 winner and amid top five finalists of the Super Model competition held in Istanbul (Turkey), Ganesh will be the baddie in superstar Mohanlal's big funds action thriller Casanova to be directed by Roshan Andrews.

Actually, reigning Tamil actor Arya was theoretical to grab this role but lately opted out of the project as he preferred to work for director Bala (who gave him a break in Naan Kadavul) during the same dates.

With Arya stepping out, Mohanlal suggested Ganesh for the role. It may be recalled that both Mohanlal and Ganesh came jointly on screen in Unnaipol Oruvan. The shooting of Casanova will begin in Dubai from January 10.
