Karunaas has finished shooting of 'Ambasamuthiram Ambani', a film in which he is playing the main role after the achievement of 'Dindukal Sarathy'. He is now looking  to play the protagonist in 'Thanga Meengal', to be directed by Ram of 'Kattradhu Thamizh' fame.

Many question whether I will be an action hero since I had played lead roles. They also need to know whether I would play a comedian in other actors' films. I said to them that - the comedian in Karunaas would never die," he says.

"I am currently playing the role of a comedian in more than eight films, also with Superstar Rajinikanth's 'Endhiran', "he says and adds: "I will play the hero without troubling the shooting schedules of the films in which I am doing comedy."

Said that his heroic ventures would move around the lives of the public, Karunaas says: "I will always play a common man. There are more unsaid stories in our society. I will work on them."
