Karan is more than pleased that 2010 is here. Why wouldn’t he be? Three of his movies are lined up for release soon and this has given sufficient reasons to the actor to applaud about.
“Kanagavel Kakka, Kandha and Thambi Vettothi Sundaram will hit the screens in the approaching months. They are rather different from each other. Expectantly I would be able to make a good impact this year,” he says.
What qualities do you believe have recognized you as a hero in the Tamil film industry? To this question, Karan says, “I have worked hard to carve a forte for myself and people have recognized me as a ‘minimum-guarantee’ actor. I would keep going on the same path and try my best to win their admiration.”
“Each and every film of mine has given me a great sense of self-assurance,” he says and adds: “Nammavar, Kannathire Thondrinal, Kadhal Kottai and Love Today won me success. Other films too are main to me.”
“When trite heroes were the norm, Kokki broke all the rules and portrayed me in a different way. My succeeding films including Karuppasamy Kuthagaitharar, Thee Nagar, Kathavarayan and Malayan offered me a lot of scope to prove myself,” he points out.
