It is certified now. P Vasu will direct RK quickly and the venture has been titled ‘Puli Vesham’. The news has been established by the director himself, who is at present busy with the post production work of his Kannada project ‘Aptha Rakshaka’.
“The story of ‘Puli Vesham’ desired a new face. While RK has done a couple of films prior to (‘Ellam Avan Seyal’ and ‘Azhagar Malai’), he is not fixed in an image trap. Hence I determined to cast him as the hero,” says Vasu.
Saying that the film would go on floors next month, the director says it would suggest a message besides satisfying the prospect of movie buffs. “In short, ‘Puli Vesham’ would have something for everyone,” he says.
On ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ and its hero Vishnuvaradhan, he says, “the unexpected demise of Vishnuvaradhan has factually stunned me. I am still not ready to consider he is no more. His performance in ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ is astonishing. He cared for everyone on the sets.”
“It is in fact not a precise sequel to ‘Apthamithra’ (‘Chandramukhi’ in Tamil). But the fear of a ghost and the ‘la ga la ga la ga’ game would persist in ‘Aptha Rakshaka’ too. We are doing graphics work for the past eight months.”
