Padmapriya is in exuberance as she is selected the Best Actress of 2009 by a lingo weekly recently. “This weekly is one of my parents’ regular picks and I'm very pleased as my parents were happy to find a good news like this,” shared the actress.
Padmapriya has flown down from Bangalore to Chennai lately to take part in the promo shoot of ‘Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam’. In the interim the actress has also received a call from Kavithalaya and had conferred a script with director Brindha Saradhar, say the sources.
Preceding year Padmapriya had eight films in 5 languages and this year she will have a Bengali and a Hindi film to her credit too. On the other hand the actress has signed in for a Kannada film with Shivrajakumar tilted ‘Thamasu’. Padmapriya is inflowing Bollywood this year with 'Striker', featuring ‘Boys’ renowned Siddharth in lead.
