“Ever since I bagged offers from Hindi, people have started making tall declares that I wouldn’t act in Tamil films any longer. I want to attest it wrong in the New Year by acting in south Indian movies too,” says Trisha.
“Chennai is my place. And this is the city where my heart is. So there is no question of ordering goodbye to Tamil films,” she says and adds: “I bagged Bollywood movies only because of Tamil and Telugu movies.”
The slim beauty, who had lately signed a Tollywood venture with Ravi Teja, says, “I am open to act in Tamil movies. At the same time, I would give value to Hindi projects too. Because the revelation is vast in Bollywood.”
The actress is full of hopes on her upcoming projects ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’. “It is a soft romantic story. I am pleased to work with Silambarasan, my good friend, and director Goutham Vasudeva Menon.”
