Vasanthabalans Angadi Theru is a rare, hard drumming practical movie that pulls at your heart strings. It has got enough play and influential font to keep the narrative flowing. The movie is set in Chennai’s main market place for the center class masses- Ranganathan Street in T.Nagar. The street has some of the most accepted textile showrooms in south India. Vasanthabalan takes a hard look at the vocation force mainly the sales girls and boys in these store their thoughts and anguishes, and you can feel the dampness of their cry.

Jyothi Lingam (Mahesh) is an intense student and child of a mason who leads a content life in his village near Tirunelveli.
