Vikram is at it another time. The Cheeyan, who made a mark as a singer in films like ‘Gemini’ as well as ‘Kanthaswamy’, has crooned for the period movie ‘Madharasapattinam’, which has Arya in the front role.
The best part of the song composed by G V Prakash is that Vikram has sung in five dissimilar voices like a lecturer, a dhobi, an old man, a youngster and a vendor. entertainingly, it was Vijay, the executive of the film, who recommended Vikram’s name to Prakash.
“The song ‘Meghame Oh Meghame….’ is going to shock the charts. everybody in the demo studio was fascinated by the way Vikram sung the song by altering his voice in no time. He is incredible,” says Prakash.
He adds: “Vikram is a true proficient. We learnt that he did a lot of homework before coming to studio for recording. And this made him to sing the song without any hiccups. I am looking forward to work with him again.”
