Achamundu Achamundu, starring Prasanna as well as Sneha in the direct roles, has been elected for the 33rd Cairo International Film Festival. Director Arun Vaidyanathan alleged the movie was well-received at the Shanghai Film Festival from beginning to end the viewers having the advantage of examination it by way of Chinese sub-titles.

The movie, shot fully in the United States, has made waves in the Garden State Film Festival as well as the Digital Cinema Film Festival in Japan.
