Ram Charan's desire for exclusive storylines is renowned. Recently he evinced interest to remake his father's superhit film Punnami Nagu and now he has zeroed in the Tamil film Paiya, that is still on the floors.

Now, how many cases have we heard of where a hero choose an unreleased film?  Well, that is what Linguswamy's (director of Pandem Kodi) story is able of? Paiya is a love story that has Karthi and Tammanah playing lead roles and Milind Soman of Bollywood donning a villain.

That Charan has been in close talks with Linguswamy to remake in Telugu has been talked about in Film Nagar circles for a while, and it seems it is appearing sometime after the actor finishes Bhaskar's film.
