Prajarajyam Party president Chiranjeevi on Saturday said he was able to lift up almost Rs 40 lakh in the city for the relief and treatment of flood wounded by collecting donations from the people during his road rallies. Chiranjeevi began his rally at Seetammadhara after meeting party leaders and workers at the PRP office here. The PRP chief supposed that ministers and executive were not co-operating with chief minister K Rosaiah, whom he described as an experienced and competent administrator.
“The CM should deal with such fundamentals with an iron hand,” he told newspersons before opening the rally. On the Greater Hyderabad elections, Chiranjeevi said the PRP would contest all divisions alone, but that he was open to association with concurring parties. “All PRP MLAs are united and stand behind me. There is no question of any one of them deserting me. The party organisational setup cannot happen overnight, it will take several years,” he said.
