D. Rama Naidu's grandson as well as celebrity Venkatesh's nephew Daggubati Rana, who is making his acting first debut by director-writer-producer Shekar Kammula's approaching action-packed actor Leader, has bagged a motion picture to be directed by Anand Ranga of recent Siddharth-Shamili starrer Oye, produced by D. Suresh Babu under his Suresh Productions banner.

Meanwhile, Leader is moving ahead briskly at a variety of locations of Andhra Pradesh. Priya Anand as well as Richa is the heroines. Leader is AVM's subsequent under-production movie in Telugu; the original is Evaraina Eppudaina.

Earlier, the makers were development to liberate Leader on October 2 (birthday of Mahatma Gandhi), but deferred it at the preceding infinitesimal. The reason is said to be the unanticipated delay in shooting schedules.
