Renowned director Gautham Menon's super hit Tamil movie Pachaikili Muthucharam (2007), starring body builder-turned-actor Sarathkumar, Andrea in addition to Jyotika in the lead roles, is being dubbed in Telugu as Drohi by Ramana, Simham and Neeraj beneath the banner of SVR Media. Harris Jayaraj has scored the music. The film is set to release on July 17.

The movie revolves around Venkat (Sarath), a medical spokesperson, happily married to Kalyani (Andrea) with a son. Their pleased and placid lives go for a toss when their son falls sick. Kalyani begins to spend more time with their son and starts to ignore her companion involuntarily. Venkat, sentiment a bit lonely and abandoned, continues his monotonous life devoid of complaining much.

One daybreak, while travelling by local train to work, Venkat notices Geetha (Jyotika) and spends a few seconds admiring her. The following day, another time he happens to position next to her. And Geetha begins a talk with Venkat. Both are married with kids; they feel they have a lot in widespread between them and their friendship blooms. At foremost, it is platonic in addition to they meet only in the train, but unhurriedly, they start meeting at restaurants in addition to coffee shops.
