Film industry show appreciation for Rosaiah |

A delegation of film industry council on Thursday evening called on Chief Minister K. Rosaiah and expressed their gratitude at his positive reply to the problems faced by the industry in the past month due to the political disorder. At a meeting that lasted over half-an-hour, T. Prasanna Kumar, secretary of the Producers’ Council told Mr. Rosaiah that the industry had experienced adequate in the past month due to the conflict.
While continuing shootings were being disturbed, filmmakers too were disinclined to start their schedules until they were persuaded that things had reached normalcy, he said. Three days ago, the designation also met Director-General of Police, R.R. Girish Kumar and conveyed the need for adequate protection.
