Well-known film personalities like Murli Mohan, Shyam Prasad Reddy, Tammareddy Bharadwaj and others called to political leaders, students organizations and members of the JAC, to assist with the film industry, which aims to dole out entertainment and has nothing got to do with politics.
 
Speaking at a press meet, to make a genuine plea to not cause obstacles to Sankranthi releases, Shyam Prasad said that films are made to amuse all the Telugu people.  In the same vein, Murli Mohan said that the current political conditions certainly caused problems to the industry and that the industry needs everyone for its endurance.
 
Tammareddy said that the industry must not be beleaguered for the personal statements of some individuals.  Producers Suresh Babu, Dil Raju, Gemini Kiran, Tagore Madhu and others were present.
