Ever since her debut film Premiste, turn out to be a hit, Sandhya has been struck with the girl-next-door image.  In her last few Tamil films she has been trying to shake off this image by turning glamorous. 

Now with revenge she is turning even more glamorous in her new release Odipoloma, which is being dubbed in to Telugu as Lechi Podama.  There have been gossips that Sandhya had turned glamorous to help her good friend Parimal, the hero of the film, with whom she has been linked in Tamil media.
