Mani Ratnam, one of India's finest moviemakers is busy wrapping up his most striving mission Raavan. Recently, the director shot a very risky sequence inspired from his genuine time experience.
Sham Kaushal, action director of the movie, confirmed the reports and said, "Yes, it was a very hard scene but Mani sir was very clear about the way he required to shoot it. a celebrity had to throw the bomb from a distance of 25 feet and the bomb had to blast mid-air about 15 feet from where the performer were standing."
"The next day we shot it accurately the way Mani hunted it and he was glad with the result. When I asked why he wanted it to be shot in that particular way, he said he had faced a similar condition. He told me that he was reading a newspaper at his Chennai house when somebody had thrown a pipe bomb at him but he was saved as the bomb had erupted mid-air before it hit him. That's why he required the same series. I guess that's why all of us readily push ourselves that extra mile for him," he added.
