The achievement meet of cinematographer-turned-director Ravi Yadav's bilingual Maro Charitra, starring Varun Sandesh and Anita, was held at Dil Raju’s office, Hyderabad. An adaptation of 1978 iconic blockbuster with the same title, Maro Charitrawas produced under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations.

In the backdrop of few media reviews for the film, producer Dil Raju said: "Maro Charitrawas an experiment and we are not bothered about the reviews. After the release, we have not received a single call from industry circles. But we feel that the audiences have responded to our expectations.

We observe that the divided opinions on this film might be due to the inclination of the audiences to compare this version with the oldie Maro Charitra." Varun Sandesh and heroines Anita and Shradda Das also spoke during the occasion.
