National Awards to be received on Wednesday |

Pratibha Patil will give not here the 55th National Film Awards for 2007 at a meaning to subsist held at Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi on Wednesday, October 21st. The awards will be agreed in 31 categories; in non-feature movies segment, the awards are in 22 categories.
South Indian cinema scored big at National Awards this year with Priyadarshan's out of the ordinary Tamil movie Kanchivaram winning the greatest feature motion picture reward as well as Prakashraj the most excellent actor meant for his presentation in it. Adoor Gopalakrishnan bagged the best director award for Naalu Pennungal (Malayalam) and Uma Shri was adjudged best actress for Gulabi Talkies in Kannada. The unsurpassed music award has been bagged by Ouseppachan in favor of his score in the Malayalam movie Ore Kadal. Pattnam Rasheed gets the unsurpassed make-up singer award for his work in the Malayalam movie Paradesi.
