Tamil actor Suriya, who came under huge stress to make clear on media reports that he has signed to act for a Sri Lankan project, has said that he will not act in a Sinhalese film and articulated distress at the reports which claimed he has signed one.
He was quoted as saying on Thursday, "There is no reality in it. I am at present acting in 'Singam' directed by Hari. My approaching projects are a Hindi movie by Ram Gopal Varma and a film in A R Murugadoss's direction. It will be produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin."
As his distressed fans were annoyed at the 'decision' of their favourite star, the soft-spoken actor determined come clear on the rumours.
